Beyond Duality

In terms of sexuality we are divided into male and female. In terms of money, we are divided into rich and poor. Our lives are filled with these and many other dualities. These dualities can easily lead to a polarization of beliefs and lifestyles. Once large groups of people become strongly polarized against each other, it becomes easy for those supporting one end of the polarization to justify hatred, killing, and even war against the other. Yet is this what we really want?
For thousands of years this world has been focused on duality and polarization. The people and governments of this world have long had a tendency to judge most everything in terms of light vs. darkness, good vs. evil, us vs. them. We've in many ways been indoctrinated to embrace the light as good, while avoiding and separating ourselves from darkness, as we were taught that it is evil. As a result of these deeply ingrained dualities, we've ended up in many deep conflicts and wars both in the world and even inside of ourselves.

By developing clear purpose and intentions and following these to the best of our ability, we can shift from dualistic old paradigm behaviors to develop healthier, more harmonious ways of living with each other.
Humanity is now on the brink of a important paradigm shift. Our world is now shifting with increasing speed from old dualistic ways of thinking to a new paradigm which accepts both light and darkness, both creation and destruction, both us and them as a natural part of life.
It is time to recognize that all of these dualities and polarizations can be valuable aspects of living in a world with human values. Sometimes it's necessary to destroy outdated things and change old ways in order to make way for the new. Seeds need to be buried in the darkness of fertile soil in order to sprout and grow. Let us open to darkness, destruction, and "them" as valued and respected aspects of life which can help us to learn and grow as we work together to find our common humanity.
This is not in the least to suggest that by opening to the darkness we unleash our base desires and do whatever we want to whoever we want. We need to stop behavior that is destructive or disempowering towards people whenever possible. The suggestion, rather, is that even as we stop the destructive behaviors, we do our best to accept and learn from the darkness which can cause such behaviors, so that we can better be the change we want to see.
In other words, even as we stop destructive behaviors, we can open to seeing beyond the behavior to the deeper common humanity we all share. In doing this, we allow for deep healing and transformation to occur. By accepting and embracing the core essence of all people and all parts of ourselves, we open the doors to deep healing and love for all of us.

Por si no tenían bastante con los frentes abiertos en Irak y Afganistán, ahora la Casa Blanca acaba de iniciar otra guerra, esta vez con la cadena de televisión Fox News, propiedad del magnate de los medios de comunicación Rupert Murdoch, dueño del Wall Street Journal y el New York Post, entro otros periódicos. Entre el cruce de acusaciones de los últimos días, la cadena ha denunciado que Barack Obama no les concederá entrevistas hasta el próximo año.

Fue su directora de Comunicación, Anita Dunn, quien la semana pasada lanzó la primera piedra durante una entrevista a la cadena CNN, en la que acusó al canal de Murdoch de actuar como si fuera «el departamento de propaganda del Partido Republicano». Unos días más tarde, en declaraciones al New York Times, añadía que a partir de ahora la Fox será considerada como «un oponente más». Se da la circunstancia, lógica por otra parte, de que la Fox era la cadena preferida del Gobierno durante los ochos años de mandato de George Bush.

El presidente de la alianza Renault-Nissan, Carlos Ghosn, aprovechó la primera jornada de prensa del Salón de Tokio ayer para catapultar el interés que despiertan los coches eléctricos, principal alternativa a la hegemonía del petróleo.

Uno de los principales secretos de la electricidad es que se puede generar partiendo de múltiples fuentes de energía primarias o renovables. El petróleo, en cambio, va agotando paulatinamente sus reservas, "además de plantear un problema constante en el universo de la economía, que no puede predecir las oscilaciones de su precio", apuntilló Ghosn. Que Renault y Nissan tengan el objetivo de liderar la reconversión de la industria de la automoción hacia un entorno de movilidad alimentado por la electricidad no es fruto de la casualidad. Un detallado estudio de mercado encargado por la propia empresa desvela que el 9% de los conductores japoneses está convencido de que su próximo coche debería ser eléctrico.
Para Ghosn, "que la opinión de los clientes sea tan favorable a la electricidad cuando todavía no existe prácticamente ningún coche movido por esta fuente de energía nos permite ser optimistas respecto a nuestra estrategia. Si Nissan empezará a vender su primer modelo eléctrico el año próximo, Renault ha anunciado también que desarrollará su gama eléctrica a partir del 2011, con el objetivo de ostentar el liderato mundial en coches sin emisiones". Ghosn reconoció que ""el desarrollo de la electricidad en el sector dependerá de las decisiones políticas, puesto que se tienen que crear los puntos de recarga necesarios, y en las fases iniciales será esencial contar con ayudas que permitan rebajar el precio de los vehículos".

These collisions have caused an increase in seismic activity and ocean volcanism in the plate zones located in the Indian and Pacific Oceans, and this increase is set to augment still further as these operations intensify during the coming year. Likewise, the odd weather associated with 'global warming' is to grow more drastic. In this way, Mother Earth is signaling to humanity that the changes to humankind require a swift and all-encompassing resolution, and we have duly acknowledged this message of hers. As we noted in previous updates, we have set up a number of alternate scenarios to carry out this much-needed return to full consciousness. You are under a prime decree by Lord Surea to be returned to your natural state of full consciousness. A number of special crystal cities are ready in Inner Earth to house you during this time and the procedures for your transfer there are well tested and ready.
What is left is to use the remaining time to aid all of you in achieving the change in governments; to carry out the prosperity and other programs designed to alleviate your present suffering; and to inform you of our presence. Then you can begin to solve the current crises of pollution, want, wars, and accumulated hatreds that have so long plagued you. These things our Earth allies intend to do.
