A team of experts recently discovered a six-kilometer-long lava cave system on Easter Island thought to have been used as a refuge by the island’s inhabitants during the 16th century. The team confirmed it is the largest cave on the island and the 11th-largest in the world in terms of area.

El “alma” es un concepto que distingue lo vivo (lo animado) de lo inanimado. La neuróloga Laura Bossi recorre las tradiciones míticas, las tradiciones zoológicas, las implicaciones para el árbol de la evolución, el alma humana, las diferencias con los primates, la esencia de lo que podríamos llamar el “alma” y las reflexiones actuales a partir de la neurología y las teorías de la mente. Bossi describe las difíciles relaciones tanto en nuestro interior como en las sociedades humanas, entre nuestra “alma vital” y nuestra “alma pensante”, en el zoé y el bios, según la distinción aristotélica, entre nuestra vida desnuda de animal humano y esa vida “buena” y digna del ser consciente y libre que podemos llegar a ser, que tanto moralistas como juristas y teólogos han intentado imaginar y transmitirnos. Para la autora, repensar el “alma” supone, en el fondo radical, la defensa del ser humano.
En los albores del tercer milenio, el alma ha sido olvidada. Los poetas y los artistas, en una curiosa sustitución, ya sólo se interesan por su doble, el cuerpo, el soma, que antaño significó el cuerpo “inanimado”, sin vida, el cadáver (en inglés, corpse). Los filósofos parecen pensar que se trata de un tema que ya es historia, apenas útil para las antologías. En cuanto a los psicoanalistas, ya no se atreven ni siquiera a nombrar el objeto de sus estudios. Incluso los teólogos parecen hoy molestos ante esta palabra, tal vez por miedo a ser tomados por dualistas anticuados, o por simple fatiga ante siglos de controversia.

Los teólogos hoy, en lugar de “alma”, prefieren el término “persona” (máscara de teatro, personaje), cuyo significado teológico, opuesto a la naturaleza y relacionado con las hipóstasis divinas, escapa al profano, más familiarizado con su significado jurídico, de origen estoico, de ciudadano responsable que desempeña un papel en la polis. El alma también está ausente de los escritos modernos y diccionarios de teología cristiana, e incluso en la liturgia católica en torno a los muertos.

The man in charge of the secret organization known as the Office of International Treasury Control (IOTC) is R.C. Dan. Dan claims to be a Cambodian Prince and now lives in the Thai Royal family complex in Bangkok, Thailand. The man known to us as a whistleblower is an Australian who used to work for him. The U.S. educated Mr. Dan claims to have special privileges in the Senate and the House by the United Nations. These may have been granted, but then again it is hard to find many treaties or agreements the U.S. has not broken. He claims to be the sole arbiter, owner and controller of the international collateral combined accounts of the global debt facility. He also claims to have 3rd to 5th level security clearance granted to him by the U.S. Congress. Dan was appointed in 1995 as the sole arbiter for the Bank of International Settlements in Basle, Switzerland. He also has the codes for 60 types of special “debt instruments” connected to a complex combination of countries, treaties, banks and other financial institutions. Most of these are now in deep trouble because of the quadrillions of dollars of toxic financial products based on nothing but fiat (out of nothing) money. So long as the Ponzi scheme known as Wall Street collapses and economic discipline is imposed, the whole mess can be cleared up within 3 years.
These so-called “debt instruments” were created by the U.S. treasury department over the years and given to countries that have trade surpluses with the U.S. There are, for example, special sets of boxes specific only to certain countries or institutions.
The problem is that after nearly a century of issuing these debt boxes, the chickens are coming home to roost. President Obama tried at the recent G8 plus 5 meeting in Italy to borrow more money than George Bush junior did in 8 years. He was told a resounding no. The result should be total economic chaos in the U.S. by September 30th. The good news for the Americans is that it is not the U.S. that is bankrupt but rather a corporation known as the United States of America Corporation headquartered in the independent statelet known as Washington D.C. Once the Feds go down the drain of history, the American people will be provided with extremely generous funding to rebuild their industry and develop suppressed technology. The Pentagon will also be given generous funding to help it transform itself into a more benevolent organization. In the meantime, we know the Feds are not going to go quietly into the night so we have to be extremely vigilant in stopping whatever crazy thing they try next. The question for Mr. Dan is, when are you going to go public and tell the world the truth?

Durante sus cinco primeros meses en la Casa Blanca, Barack Obama y sus más íntimos asesores han intentado resistirse a las distintas voces que clamaban por una investigación de los presuntos abusos de autoridad de la Administración de George Bush, especialmente en nombre de la lucha contra el terrorismo y la seguridad nacional. Pero esa posición, basada en la necesidad de centrarse en el presente y el futuro más que en el pasado, empieza a ceder ante la creciente presión que están creando las nuevas y problemáticas revelaciones.
Obama tiene varios frentes abiertos que cada día se confirman como más difíciles de contener. El más reciente se ha hecho ineludible en las últimas horas, cuando se ha desvelado que durante siete años, y por orden del exvicepresidente Dick Cheney, se mantuvo oculto a los líderes del Congreso un plan de la CIA enmarcado en la lucha contra el terrorismo. Fue el actual director de la agencia de espionaje, Leon Panetta, quien informó a finales de junio al Congreso de ese plan y de su ocultación, llevando a líderes demócratas en las Cámaras como los senadores Dianne Feinstein y Richard Durbin a hablar de «un gran problema» posiblemente «ilegal».

Es una agresión, una provocación del imperio", dijo el mandatario.

El Futuro De Los Alimentos

En “The future of food” se desvela como la industria biotecnológica y agroalimentaria se han unido para controlar el mercado de los alimentos. Desde que la Corte Suprema de EE.UU abrió la puerta para poder patentar organismos genéticamente modificados, las grandes empresas del sector, como Monsanto o DuPont, han utilizado sus patentes para apropiarse de todo aquello que contenga sus genes patentados. Un ejemplo terrible de como el sistema de patentes no protege el conocimiento, sino que lo privatiza. De este modo, Monsanto ha obligado a los agricultores cuyos cultivos han sido contaminados por cepas transgénicas a destruir sus reservas de semillas (o pagar la licencia por el uso de “su” tecnología), como parte de una estrategia dirigida a ir reduciendo la cuota de mercado de las semillas tradicionales, que progresivamente se irán contaminando conforme avancen los cultivos transgénicos. Paralelamente, estas empresas han ido absorbiendo a sus competidores hasta configurar un gran oligopolio en el mercado de semillas y la producción de pesticidas y fertilizantes. Durante el documental se explican las técnicas invasivas de las que se sirve la ingeniería genética para obrar sus “milagros”: Primero se debilitan las células receptoras y, mediante virus y bacterias, se invade el núcleo con ADN con la esperanza de que se recombine. Para separar las recombinaciones exitosas del resto se implanta también genes resistentes a un antibiótico específico, y luego se expone la muestra a dicho antibiótico. Los organismos que sobreviven son los que buscábamos, listos para introducirse en la cadena alimentaria junto a su recientemente adquirida inmunidad antibiótica. ¿Qué pasará cuando estas características de organismos genéticamente modificados contaminen las cosechas tradicionales y las semillas híbridas hereden las características de su progenitor modificado?

This is precisely why the "Elite" want an 80-90% reduction of the world's population, with just enough peasants to serve their utopia, described in writings by people such as Huxley and Fabian H.G. Wells, and promoted still today in well-funded works of propaganda such as Zeitgeist, which are designed to promote the New World Order religion.

These levels induced significant cellular toxicity in the human neuronal and fetal cells studied. The Thimerosal-induced cellular damage was consistent with that found in pathophysiological studies of patients diagnosed with an ASD. In both instances, the studies found significant mitochondrial dysfunction, reduced cellular oxidative-reduction activity, cell degeneration, and cell death.
The present study also revealed that Thimerosal is significantly more toxic than the other metal compounds studied (e.g., aluminum sulfate, methylmercury hydroxide, lead acetate, and mercuric chloride). The explanation for Thimerosal’s greater toxicity than even methylmercury hydroxide (MeHgOH) appears to be the fact that Thimerosal was chemically engineered in the 1920s to be a more highly toxic alkylmercury compound, whose biological transport and intracellular delivery properties were enhanced. Compared to MeHgOH, Thimerosal has: 1) higher aqueous solubility (i.e. ability to dissolve in water and water-based systems); 2) higher solubility in cell membranes (i.e. ability to dissolve in cell membranes); and 3) higher intracellular toxicity (i.e. ability to inactivate essential cell processes) and mercury retention.

It is nearly impossible to pinpoint the precise cause of a whale’s stranding. Theories invariably include factors like the straying of a sick and dying whale leader, faithfully followed by the members of his pod, or sudden shallows along the shores of a migratory route. Two strandings in September 2002, separated by 5700 miles, however, did have something intriguing in common. It was noted, by the Canary Islands stranded whale rescuers, that naval vessels were carrying out exercises that day not far offshore, a situation that had accompanied four other mass whale strandings on Canary Islands beaches since 1985. And while no such military exercises were being conducted off the beaches of the Isla San José event, the vessel that the scientists radioed turned out to be a research ship dragging an array of powerful underwater air guns that were repeatedly set off the previous morning in the course of seismic tests of the region’s ocean floor.
The suspicion of a causal relationship between whale strandings and either seismic tests or the use of new high-tech sonar tracking devices in military-training exercises had been mounting for some time. Similar coincidences had been noted off the coasts of Brazil, the Bahamas, the Galápagos Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Japan, as well as in the waters off Italy and Greece. Necropsies performed on a number of the whales revealed lesions about their brains and ears. The results of the examinations performed on the Canary Islands whales, however, added a whole other, darker dimension to the whale-stranding mystery. In addition to bleeding around the whales’ brains and ears, scientists found lesions in their livers, lungs and kidneys, as well as nitrogen bubbles in their organs and tissue, all classic symptoms of a sickness that scientists had naturally assumed whales would be immune to: the bends.

Some consider whales to be directly involved in the managing of the world's 'sea water', especially by the ancestral cultures of the planet. Recently, independent scientists pointed out that earth's 'sea water' is largely -if not solely- responsible for the configuration of the planet's magnetosphere. Consider the implications of this. UFOs: record number of sightings forecast for 2009

·A record number of UFOs are expected to be spotted this year in Britain after hundreds of sightings were reported in the first six months of 2009.

Strange floating orbs and unexplained hovering objects have all been recorded and reported to the Ministry of Defence in the last six months.
A total of 231 sightings of unidentified flying objects have been passed on to the MoD so far this year, according to The Sun.
This compares to 285 in 2008, 135 in 2007 and 97 in 2006.

Nick Pope, who used to run the Government's UFO project and is considered a leading authority on UFOs, told The Sun: "We are now on track for a record year.
"I thought the number of UFOs reported last year was high, but we now know they are being reported in increasing numbers."
Last year, the MoD released files detailing strange and unexplained sightings reported to them between 1986 and 1992.

Un nuevo concepto informático, llamado EvoGrid, tal vez ayude a desvelar dicho misterio, puesto que con él se pretende reproducir las condiciones terrestres que propiciaron la aparición de la vida. Los científicos esperan que este programa, además de ayudarnos a comprender este acontecimiento, en un futuro permita también desarrollar nuevas formas de vida ciber-físicas, con las que colonizaremos otros planetas. En el proyecto se espera que se impliquen miles de ordenadores, como en el proyecto SETI, con los que se aumentará la capacidad de procesamiento de información de EvoGrid.

La CIA ocultó al Congreso norteamericano la existencia de un programa antiterrorista desde 2001 por orden directa del vice presidente Dick Cheney, según ha reconocido el director del servicio de inteligencia estadounidense, Leon Panetta, a los comités de inteligencia del Senado y de la Cámara de Representantes, informa 'The New York Times' citando dos fuentes anónimas con conocimiento de esas declaraciones.
