Two nonprofit groups say that computer technicians have found 22 million White House e-mails from the administration of President George W. Bush.
The two groups say the electronic messages were previously mislabeled and effectively lost.
An announcement Monday by the two groups is the latest development in a controversy that surrounded the failure by the Bush White House to install an electronic record-keeping system.
The two private organizations — the National Security Archive and Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington — say they are settling lawsuits that they filed against the Executive Office of the President in 2007.

The biggest obstacle to world prosperity has been energy. This week I was shown an invention that could change all that. The Ryukyu Electric Power Company showed me a battery[below] they have developed that can store large volumes of electricity at over 90% efficiency. These batteries would make it possible to start up the business model of handing out free solar panels and batteries to households and collect a small monthly fee for a couple of years. After that the households would own it and would never have to pay an energy bill again.
For some mysterious reason no Japanese bank will lend them money and no big corporation will help them get this into production. The reason of course is that up until now anybody who tried to market products of this sort was killed or otherwise suppressed by the big energy companies. According to the American Academy of Science over 6,000 patents have been suppressed in the US alone for “national security reasons.” Once this suppressed technology is released we will be able to live in a science fiction reality.

There has been some confusion about the MFW. Is it over? Not at all. The MFW will continue until Disclosure takes place. New publicity for this effort is being planned and will get underway strongly at the first of the new year. Thousands more letters, faxes and emails will be on their way to the White House press corps care of the White House Correspondents Association (WHCA).
Why the emphasis on the White House Correspondents Association? Two reasons: 1) a decision to ask the tough and appropriate questions by as few as two or three White House reporters could end the truth embargo in a matter of weeks, and 2) the White House itself gets a huge amount of correspondence. The WHCA gets a tiny fraction by comparison. Therefore, a WHCA focused campaign will stand out and be much more difficult to hide.
Why hasn't the White House or the WHCA acknowledged this correspondence? Simple. If they did, it would open the door for the press to ask to see the letters. The content of this correspondence would then set off a new round of questions - the very questions that need to be asked.
So they have to act as if nothing is happening and hope the MFW goes away. That is not going to happen.

Recent Events of Note
Over a span of just a few days several matters manifested of some exopolitical significance. They are as follows:
Gary McKinnon - The indicted UK computer intruder has reached the very last days of his appeal process and now looks to be extradited to the United States to stand trial. PRG will be somewhat shocked if this happens, but, alas, these are interesting times and not much that governments do makes a great deal of sense anymore.
Whether or not it is in the best interest of McKinnon, if he is extradited it is going to create a huge media storm with considerable reference to the UFO/ET issues as well as the truth embargo. This will include numerous media spots for UFO/ET researchers and activists, lots of new YouTube videos and considerable print coverage, all of which PRG will assiduously archive.
In short, the extradition of Gary McKinnon will be one huge headache for the anti-Disclosure elements within the U.S. government.
Barack Obama - On December 1 at the United States Military Academy President Obama announced an escalation (surge) to the war in Afghanistan including the addition of 30,000 troops. As of this announcement the President took ownership of this war. Quite soon, if not already, the President will also have his name on the 62-year old UFO/ET truth embargo. Certainly this will be the case as of January 20 and the end of his first year in office. Consequently, PRG now sees a slightly greater likelihood that Disclosure will come initially from another first-world nation. With that in mind..........
British Ministry of Defence Closes Down the UK UFO Desk - the UK MOD made an almost casual but rather striking announcement it has closed down its UFO desk as of December 1, 2009. This stance may seem paradoxical, but PRG sees a straightforward logic to this maneuver. First and foremost it reflects the fact that the United Kingdom, above all other nations, is most tied to U.S. policies on all levels. This is reinforced under the leadership of Gordon Brown, but may attenuate should David Cameron become prime minister. Only time will tell how well the people of the UK are served by this tethering.
That said, closing down the MOD UFO Desk sends the message the UK will not act ahead of the United States as regards Disclosure.
However, the continued release of UK UFO files will keep pressure on the U.S. to act on Disclosure.

Therefore, we must look elsewhere for a break in the dam that might occur outside of the United States. As stated previously, PRG believes Russia is quite taken with the enormous political legacy to be achieved with the initial announcement of an extraterrestrial presence. The same goes for China. Both nations have called for a global currency to replace the supremacy of the dollar and have hinted at other measures which could dilute the U.S. dollar's value. France is another candidate for initial Disclosure.
A greatly devalued U.S. dollar coupled with a failure to end the truth embargo it began in the late 1940's might well signal the end of the United States as the defining superpower in geopolitics. A once great and proud nation will have "jumped the shark" and be staring a legacy of lies, repeated wars and financial decline in the face under a president whose approval ratings might sink lower than those of George W. Bush. A domestic political tragedy may be taking place before our eyes.
But let it be clear Disclosure is much bigger and much more important than the fate of any single nation. It will happen, and there is no power on Earth that can stop it. The Disclosure advocacy movement will continue to grow. Anyone advising the President of the United States otherwise is miscalculating on a grand scale.
Whatever the pressures upon the new President to extend and expand the wars in the Middle East, the matter of Disclosure should not be connected to these policies. More importantly a case can be made that without Disclosure the world will continue to experience war after war after war - for profit, for status, for land, for "national interest", for religion, for food, for water, for the hell of it - war without end.
For the same reason Truth is the first casualty of war, it is also its remedy.

The HAARP Program
The High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) based in Gokona, Alaska, has been in existence since 1992. It is part of a new generation of sophisticated weaponry under the US Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI). Operated by the Air Force Research Laboratory's Space Vehicles Directorate, HAARP constitutes a system of powerful antennas capable of creating "controlled local modifications of the ionosphere" [upper layer of the atmosphere]:
HAARP has been presented to public opinion as a program of scientific and academic research. US military documents seem to suggest, however, that HAARP's main objective is to "exploit the ionosphere for Department of Defense purposes." The release of Roland Emmerich's film, 2012, has popularized this date on a planetary scale. What does it mean? Where did it come from? As awareness of 2012 becomes an event of mass consciousness, we begin to sense something of the greatest magnitude, a veritable world shift. The ripples from this shift are already creating waves washing up on the shores of the old consciousness. What is behind December 21, 2012, and what does it really augur?
It is generally known that this date is related to the Mayan calendar and the Mayan prophecies. How did the Maya come to this date, and what do their prophecies say about it? The Maya, whose civilization reached its heights in Central America and Mexico between AD 435 and 830, were expert mathematicians with a unique calendar system. How did they come to be operating with a sophisticated sense of time far beyond anything known even today?
In The Mayan Factor, Path beyond Technology (1987), I concluded that the primary intention of the Mayan calendar system was not to measure time but to record the harmonic calibrations of a galactic synchronization beam, 5,125 years or 5200 tun (360-day cycles) in duration. According to the time science of the ancient Maya, a great moment of transformation awaits us at 2012, when we pass out of that beam. For humanity this beam constitutes the wave harmonic of history. 5,125 years in diameter, this beam commenced 13 August B.C. 3113, a date marked by the Mayan calendar long count as 13.0.0.0.0, 4 Ahau. This precise date 13.0.0.0.0, 4 Ahau will occur again on December 21, 2012. Exactly 1,872,000 days will have passed, a cycle of 13 baktuns of 144,000 days each.
This interval, B.C. 3113 - A.D. 2012, comprises the totality of history as we know it -- from the First Dynasty of Egypt to the Twin Towers, hence wave harmonic of history. During this cycle, humanity has gone from a tribal creature just learning how to live in cities, to being a full-blown planetary organism. In this process, humanity learned how to mechanize time. The mechanization of time created an unconscious mental field in which the human systematically separated itself from nature for the purpose of creating a vast industrialized order, the technosphere -- a sphere of artificial time cast over the biosphere. Since 1618, the human species has been living in its own artificial time, apart from the rest of the biosphere that continues to operate in the natural cycles. The dissonance between artificial and natural time has brought about the present crisis -- and pushed mankind toward a new condition of being.
The conclusion of the cycle in A.D. 2012 bodes a return to natural time and an evolutionary upgrading of planetary life. A resonant frequency phase shift will usher us into the brilliance of galactic-solar-planetary evolution. We shall pass not only into a post-historic, but a post-human, or super human phase of our evolution. In fact, the entire 5,125-year cycle -- hardly an instant of geological time -- is but a mutative phase. With this phase complete, a new evolutionary stage begins. This is known as the noosphere, literally, the mental sheathe of the planet, the mind of the Earth, where we think and act as a single planetary organism -- a new race of bio-solar telepaths. With the advent of planetary consciousness will come not destruction, but at long last, universal peace.

US$ 2 million verdict against Bayer for genetic contamination

Contamination of normal plants by GE (genetically engineered) plants is something we’ve been shouting about for years at Greenpeace. In 2006 we released a report[below] that showed that the "accidental" release of GE rice by Bayer into the US rice supply led to global costs of between US$ 741 million and US$ 1.285 billion.
Some of those costs are now coming home to roost. A jury in the US ruled on Friday that Bayer is to pay two Missouri farmers over US $ 2 million. Not a huge amount for a multinational company, but this ruling relates to two cases amongst thousands currently pending. If the average remains US $ 1 million per farmer, Bayer could end up dishing out a nine digit figure! Although we are all rather happy here at Greenpeace that liability is landing where it belongs, it is crazy what it takes before those responsible are brought to justice:

Does our food supply have to be contaminated and millions of dollars of damage done before legislators wake up to the need to stop this stuff?

Genetically Engineered strains should simply not be released into the environment: the scientific understanding of their impacts on ecosystems and human health is inadequate, and once out there, we can't put them back in the lab. Bayer actually admitted during the trial that “[e]ven the best [containment protocols] can’t guarantee perfection” – they were always aware that contamination was possible, and even unavoidable.
This GE rice variety has never been commercially planted, and despite this, an estimated 30% of US rice stocks were contaminated. All we know is that Bayer conducted experimental field trials that were stopped in 2001, and there has been no explanation of how it occurred to this day. The next court cases begin in January with farmers from Arkansas and Mississippi – it looks like Bayer is in for a bumpy ride.

It’s time GE was assigned to the technology scrapheap and the way paved by governments and investors in agriculture for modern ecological farming.

Confidential documents related to the World Health Organization Expert Working Group on innovative financing for research and development surfaced today, revealing the group’s thinking as well as pharmaceutical industry thinking about the WHO process. The documents immediately raised concern about possible undue access to the process by industry; the WHO told Intellectual Property Watch the industry group was NOT supposed to have the documents.
The documents appear to have come from the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA), and include draft reports on innovative financing mechanisms from the working group as well as an analysis by the IFPMA on the reports’ contents. They were released on Wikileaks, a website that anonymously publishes sensitive documents.
"IFPMA was not supposed to have working drafts of the expert working group in their possession and they were not given these documents," said Precious Matsoso, director of Public Health Innovation and Intellectual Property (PHI) at the WHO, under whose auspices the expert working group falls. "It was understood by the working group that its report is intended for the director general and" WHO members, she added.
Public health advocates reacted strongly to the leaked documents. "The IFPMA document confirms much of what had been feared," that there is "a larger WHO strategy to protect the status quo, particularly as it relates to intellectual property issues," said James Love, the director of Knowledge Ecology International, a non-profit group focussed on transparency in policymaking and which has been advocating for prize funds, a biomedical R&D treaty, and other initiatives to fund R&D.
An introductory letter included with the documents addressed to the Public Health Advocacy Committee at IFPMA says "the overall result [of the working group’s report] is in line with most of the industry positions on this matter," but says that “there is still room for them to introduce new language" as the documents date from before the final working group meeting concluded on 2 December.
The Expert Working Group’s "comparative analysis of innovative financing proposals for health R&D," [below], divides aspects of drug development into six categories and then lists the ideas from "least likely" to "most likely" to work.
The six categories are: fundraising, R&D capacity building in developing countries, basic research and product discovery, product development, manufacturing and distribution, and efficiencies.
